Your day to day as a Direct Support Professional

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Hills & Dales Child Development Center, your primary mission is to empower individuals by providing essential support and teaching vital skills to maximize their independence in daily activities. You will assist your caseload in developing their abilities and exercising their rights through hands-on caregiving, including restroom assistance, showering, bathing, mealtime routines, and other activities of daily living. Your role goes beyond just tasks; it’s about forming genuine connections and companionship with the persons served.

Being eighteen years of age or older is essential, alongside holding a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and insurance. Your ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• ICF specific : Valid driver's license required
• HCBS specific : - Valid driver's license, reliable, personal vehicle, and valid insurance. AND High School diploma or equivalent.
