Registered Nurse

Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia while providing clinical, surgical and imaging services to our patients. We have 13 ASCs located throughout the state of Georgia. We are seeking to add a Part-Time Registered Nurse who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care at our Dalton and Rome ASCs.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nEffectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.\nDelivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.\nMonitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.\nCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care\nEducates patients about health maintenance and disease prevention\nEducates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family members\n\nQualifications : \n\nGood standing RN License for the state of Georgia without limitations\nBLS and ALS / ACLS Certified\nFamiliarity with medical software and equipment\nAbility to build rapport with patients\nStrong problem solving and critical thinking skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n\nRequirements : \n

• Minimum 4 days, full-time (Dalton)\n
• Schedule 8am-5pm - subject to extension based on surgery needs
