Job Title : Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse

• Skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Capability to provide explanations and instructions to the patient or responsible person
• Proficiency in using nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Competence in managing conflict using professional communication skills
• Familiarity with Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Commitment to participating in continuing education
• Ability to maintain complete and accurate medical records

Description :

Provide care to patients in the post anesthesia care unit.

Assess patients to determine their various needs.

Plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the health care team.

Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.

Recognize and report changes in patient conditions using clinical judgment.

Manage workplace conflict professionally.

Meet responsibilities related to patient care as per Core Measures.

Engage in continuing education opportunities.

Maintain accurate medical records.
