Senior Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

:

The Senior Accounting Analyst will:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities
• Work closely with independent auditors during annual financial statement audit with preparing schedules and invoices, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data
• Posting of accounts to the General Ledger for: Accounts Receivable; Cash Receipts; Accounts Payable; Cash Disbursements; and, Payroll
• Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material; update records as necessary
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, schools, and others in a courteous and professional manner
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
• Provide support such as schedules, data, information, etc. for the annual budget process
• Plan and carry out budget procedures for multiple business units including monthly monitoring of department expenditures and revenues
• Assist business units and departments in the preparation of business unit and department budgets
• Review and making recommendations on business unit and department budget proposals
• Assist in the development of multi-year forecast estimates for business unit and department expenditures and revenues
• Develop and maintain budget-monitoring models and coordinates production of the formal monitoring report (i.e., dashboard reporting)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related Accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree
