Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CMS Engagement Lead to spearhead our growth initiatives across CMS to advance the agency's mission. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMS programs, policies, and procurement processes, coupled with a proven track record of identifying, capturing, and securing federal contracts. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, building strong government relationships, and positioning MITRE as a trusted advisor to CMS. Key responsibilities include :
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree in health-related field with a focus on management and / or policy. 10 years of experience and proven track record in business development and capture management within the federal government market, with a focus on CMS. In-depth knowledge of CMS programs and existing relationships with CMS stakeholders and industry partners. Experience with health IT, data analytics, or healthcare policy solutions. Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, or other federal opportunity tracking platforms. Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including FAR regulations and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, BPAs). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.
