Fire & Life Safety Technician

Saint Alphonsus in Boise is looking for a Fire & Life Safety Technician to join our Engineering team in Boise.

As a Fire & Life Safety Technician, you will perform and document all inspection and repair of the fire and life safety (FLS) systems at multiple locations to ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements. You will complete proper maintenance and operation of fire / safety equipment such as but not limited to : fire extinguishers, alarm systems, fire hoses, sprinklers and elevator fire systems.

Minimum Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Fire & Life Safety Equipment / Systems maintenance and operations required.
• Required extensive knowledge of plan operations and general maintenance.
• Knowledge of the Idaho Fire Code and Idaho Building Code is required.
• NIET Level III certification preferred.
• Related trade school or manufacturers training preferred.
