IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee store operations to ensure sales goals and operational objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty : oversee the daily operation of the store, ensure sales objectives are met, evaluate daily operations, and initiate actions to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Hold self and staff accountable for achieving sales goals and metrics; foster a productive work environment through coaching and training of Sales Associates.
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude aligned with our core values and follow our customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines; partner with the store manager to identify challenges and present solutions.
• Recruit Great Talent : proactively network / recruit qualified candidates to ensure backfill for all positions; develop authentic relationships; assist in selecting, training, and coaching Associates / Supervisors.
• Achieve Sales Goals : follow through on customer requests, suggest additional products, use selling skills to explain benefits and value, and ensure Associates / Supervisors are trained in IT’SUGAR selling programs; establish a collaborative selling culture.
• Support Store Operations : maintain cash handling records and opening / closing procedures; review merchandise orders and inventory levels; merchandise to visual guidelines; capture customer information to enhance sales; plan events and promotions; communicate product recommendations to increase sales; understand Loss Prevention policies; handle general store operations including backroom, restroom maintenance, cleaning, and related tasks.
