ERP Systems Administration Specialist Senior in GAC Savannah
Education and experience requirements and role purpose are described below. This role is within Gulfstream Business Technology and is responsible for ERP system administration that may include application installation, architecture, configuration, ongoing support, security, patching, upgrades, high availability, development transport management, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Provides solution leadership and staff mentorship for the implementation and technical teams; delivers solution capabilities (processes, integration, data migration, and custom development) leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
- Creates plans according to schedules and assignments, and acts independently to carry them out.
- Ensures solution designs meet requirements for scalability, performance, and quality in accordance with negotiated service level agreements; drives decisions related to architecture and design.
- Delegates tasks and / or responsibilities to team members based on experience and accountability.
- Demonstrates understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
- Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and comply with applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
- Gains experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
- Supports management in recruiting, hiring, and career development.
- Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and required skills to develop and implement applications.
- Develops strategies for monitoring, preventive maintenance, and disaster recovery of applications.
- Performs application installation, upgrades, administration, support, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching.
- Coordinates and delivers solution capabilities (custom development, integration, data migration) leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Twelve years of experience in SAP system configuration, development, and deployment, including experience with :
Software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) and multiple full project lifecycle SAP HANA implementations.Designing and maintaining SAP landscapes and architectures; SAP Landscape Strategies; SAP on Virtualized Platforms and High Availability for SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA.SAP Business Suite on HANA and S / 4HANA sizing, installation, and support; ECC, CRM, GTS, EWM, SNC; SAP NetWeaver Portal sizing, installation, and support; SAP PI sizing, installation, and support including administration of communication channels, adapters, and end-to-end messages monitoring.SAP System Landscape Transformation; LaMa implementation for automating System Copy / Clone / Refresh; OpenText design and implementation (Archive Server, Content Server, Open Text Capture Center components); Solution Manager and end-to-end experience for technical monitoring, reporting, and IT Service Management Root Cause Analysis; SAP SSO methodologies and SSL; SAP and SAP-compatible load balancing technologies (SAP Web Dispatcher, F5).Must be SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP HANA and SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP Operating Systems / Database Migrations.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, a Master's degree with 10 years of the above experience or a PhD with 8 years, or 14 years of experience for candidates without a degree, may be considered acceptable.
Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 12 years of IT experience with broad exposure across multiple IT disciplines, including 6 years ERP development / deployment experience. A Master's may offset one year of experience; a PhD may offset two years.
