As a PACS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring the efficient and secure storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images.
Manage and maintain the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure efficient and secure storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of the PACS.Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of the PACS with other systems.Train and provide support to users on how to use the PACS effectively and efficiently.Monitor and maintain data integrity and security of the PACS, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.Develop and implement protocols and procedures for the effective use of the PACS.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PACS technology to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of medical imaging technology.Provide regular reports and updates on the performance and usage of the PACS.Maintain inventory and coordinate the procurement of necessary hardware and software for the PACS.Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and upgrades of the PACS.Communicate effectively with team members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide optimal solutions.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the organization's mission and goals.
