Shift timing / schedule : Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,7am-11am, every other week

Number of hours per week : 8-12 hours every other week

We are seeking a certified phlebotomist to support aresearch study aimed at helping firefighters improve their diet and reducecancer risk. This role involves conducting blood draws and anthropometricmeasurements at the San Francisco Fire Division of Training, primarily duringmorning hours.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) on San FranciscoFirefighters.

Conduct anthropometric measurements (height, weight,blood pressure).

Travel to the San Francisco Fire Division of Training foron-site data collection.

Ensure accurate data recording and adherence to studyprotocols.

Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate study needs.

Requirements :

Certified phlebotomist with experience in blood draws.

Proficiency in conducting anthropometric measurements.

Availability for morning shifts and flexible scheduling.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Reliable transportation to the San Francisco FireDivision of Training.

Certification and Experience : Ensure the phlebotomist iscertified and has significant experience in drawing blood, especially in amobile or field setting.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability : The phlebotomistshould be available to work on a flexible schedule to accommodate the uniquehours of firefighters. Reliability and punctuality are crucial to ensure timelysample collection.

Strong Interpersonal Skills : The phlebotomist should haveexcellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to interacteffectively with firefighters. They should be able to work independently, witha friendly and patient approach, to make participants comfortable during theblood draw process.

A phlebotomist license is required

The applicant must be able to get to San Francisco to dothe blood draws.
