Position Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LD RN) – Night Shift (3x12-Hour)\nShift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (3x12-Hour Nights)\nReq # : 9448\nExperience Level : 1.5+ Years (First-Time Travelers Accepted)\n\nPosition Overview\n\nWe’re seeking a compassionate and confident Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team across a dynamic network of hospitals in Oregon. This position is ideal for experienced L&D nurses who can work independently on the night shift in a high-risk, high-volume unit.\n\nThe manager prefers candidates with at least 2 years of L&D experience, but will consider those with 1–1.5 years if they’ve worked in a high-risk or high-census labor and delivery environment.\n\nJob Details\n\nFacility Type : Short-Term Acute Care\n\nTotal Staffed Beds : 109\n\nCharting System : Epic\n\nScrub Color : Any color (provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units)\n\nParking : Free\n\nShift & Schedule\n\nShift : Nights, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)\n\nWeekends : Required every other or every third weekend\n\nOn-Call : Yes – 1 low census shift per pay period\n\nFloating : Yes – per unit needs and skill set\n\nBlock Scheduling : Unknown\n\n48-Hour Workweeks : Not approved\n\nTransportation : Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment\n\nFloating Details\n\nTravelers may be required to float among the following facilities based on staffing needs : \nMilwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent\n\nSeaside Incentive : \n\n$5 / hour incentive for hours worked at Seaside\n\nIRS mileage reimbursement provided\n\nHotel accommodations offered if floating for consecutive shifts\n\nFacilities will provide as much notice as possible before floating\n\nPatient Ratios\n\nLabor : 1 : 1\n\nPostpartum : 1 : 3\n\nQualifications\n\nLicensure : Active or pending RN license (state or compact)\n\nExperience : Minimum 1.5 years in Labor & Delivery (2+ years preferred)\n\nCertifications : BLS, NRP, and ACLS required (Inpatient OB certification preferred)\n\nWhy This Role\n\nJoin a respected healthcare system known for its collaborative culture, high standards of care, and strong support for its nursing staff.
