We have an exciting new position available for an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to join our team at our Lebanon, Ohio facility. The Learning & Development Consultant plays a key role in supporting the organization’s learning strategy by facilitating, designing, continuously improving, and coordinating learning programs that strengthen employee capability and performance. This position blends facilitation, instructional design, program coordination, and LMS administration to ensure employees have access to effective, engaging, and consistent learning experiences. The Consultant partners with departments across the organization to assess learning needs, deliver instructor-led and virtual training, support onboarding, and maintain accurate learning records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Program Facilitation & Delivery
Facilitation – Facilitate engaging instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual L&D programming sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles.
Onboarding – Deliver new hire onboarding sessions, reinforcing company culture, values, key processes and information, and give tours as needed.Delivery Differentiation – Adjust delivery style to meet the needs of diverse learners across departments and job functions.Training Feedback & Evaluation – Collect feedback and evaluate effectiveness of sessions, implementing improvements as needed.Instructional Design & Content DevelopmentDevelop Content – Design and develop blended learning programs, including eLearning, ILT, and microlearning content for different levels and areas of internal L&D programming.
SME Collaboration – Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create and update learning materials, job aids, facilitator guides, and support entering materials into the LMS.Learning Content Alignment – Ensure learning content aligns with business goals, company standards, and brand voice for established and future L&D programs.Continuous Improvement – Evaluate learning programs for effectiveness and make continuous improvements based on participant feedback and performance data.LMS Administration & Learning RecordsLMS Admin – Serve as an administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, enrollment management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Training Records – Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and completions to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.Audit Support – Provide documentation and clarity to auditors as needed to ensure compliance.Learning Coordination & SupportTraining Coordination – Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communication, materials, room or virtual setup, and training documentation, records, and / or certifications.
Partnership Development – Partner with various leaders and teams across the organization to identify training needs, resources, and recommend appropriate learning solutions.Compliance Training – Assist with compliance training, audit readiness, regulatory learning initiatives, and other compliance training needs across the organization.Training Documentation – Partner department leaders and SMEs to support training documentation, process guides, and development of internal learning tools and processes.Vendor Management – Manage external vendor relationships for specialized training or tools as needed.Other duties in support of company objectivesConsistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, every employee shall actively participate in relevant education / training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives. Education – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field required.Certification – Professional certifications such as ATD CPLP / CTDP, SHRM-CP / SCP, or equivalent are preferred.5–8 years of experience in learning and development, education, training, and / or organizational development roles.Facilitation – Proven experience delivering and facilitating in person and virtual sessions.Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees at multiple levels.Experience administering and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS), e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, or similar), and Microsoft Office.Expertise with adult learning theory, instructional design, and program evaluation methodologies (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, etc.).Strong business acumen, ability to influence leaders, and comfort presenting to senior executives.Ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.MANE offers industry leading benefits including a generous PTO plan.
