Position : Assistant Food Services Manager - Full Time

The Assistant Food Services Manager will assist the FNS Manager in providing management of the FNS Department, ensuring quality food preparation and service to all customers, while meeting budgetary guidelines. Other duties will vary according to the center needs and may include tray / meal service.

Position Highlights :

• Assists the FNS Manager in planning, directing, and supervising all FNS functions and partners with the exception of Director of FNS, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR).
• Works with the FNS Manager, Director of FNS, RDN, NDTR, Regional Dietitian, and Administrator and follows recommendations made.
• Has a thorough understanding of all regulations (local, state, and federal) which affect FNS including, but not limited to, patient care, sanitation, labor, fire, safety, and disaster and ensures continued compliance to these regulations.
• Assists in making food and supply purchases and for maintaining expense records.
