Contract Position : HR Representative
We have an outstanding contract position for an HR Representative to join a leading company located in the Norfolk, VA surrounding area. US Citizenship is required. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Process employee data, including new hires, terminations, and benefits changes.
- Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and provide support with benefits-related inquiries.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees and management.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure compliance with company hiring policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Basic Hiring Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proficient in HR software and systems, including HRIS and benefits administration platforms.Desired Qualifications
