Join our team as a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in neurological patient care. You will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans for our patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive neuro care, including airway management and the use of specialized equipment. - Continuously assess patients' physical and psychosocial conditions throughout their care journey.\n
- Develop, communicate, and document individualized care plans, involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.\n
- Implement and coordinate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.\n
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and modify as necessary, making referrals as needed.\n
- Provide education to patients and families based on assessed learning needs.\n
- Serve as a preceptor for new staff and function as a charge nurse.\n
- Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, and professional development.\n
- Ensure smooth unit operations through the completion of assigned duties.\n
- Demonstrate competency in caring for neurological patients, including airway management and assisting during special procedures.\n
- Utilize knowledge of the TIA teaching program and perform suctioning tasks according to policy.\n
- Care for patients in a halo brace and manage those on ventilators effectively.\nQualifications : \n\nMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred. Proficiency in electronic patient records and the ability to conduct literature searches related to patient care is essential.
