The position involves a blend of technical skills, customer service, and quality management to service our retail members efficiently. Evaluate and select premium meat products for distribution. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations. Train staff on proper meat handling and preparation techniques. Collaborate with vendors to secure the best products at competitive prices. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and maintain records. Assist in the development of marketing strategies for meat products. Provide expert advice and insights on meat products to retail members. In-depth knowledge of meat types, cuts, and preparation techniques. Proficient in the use of meat processing and preparation equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in cold environments. Competence in maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
