Position Title: Senior Engineer

Position Summary:
The Senior Engineer is a senior level role within the Technology organization. This is an individual contributor role, with no direct reports. This role requires prior product and/or industry knowledge that is transferable to Gilmore products. This role is expected to focus on tactical goals which are set by Engineering Manager, in support of the strategic goals set by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
A Senior Engineer is expected to operate with little oversight from the Engineering Manager. A Senior Engineer is expected to possess all skills necessary to execute projects related to applications, new product development, and sustaining engineering. A Senior Engineer is used as an approver for engineering design packages, so long as their product competency aligns with the design package being approved.
A Senior Engineer is the highest level within the Technology Organization for an individual contributor with tactical execution focus.
Over time, the individual in this role is expected to learn about Gilmore's products, design process, manufacturing process, and industries served.
