Position Overview
The Field Service Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of field service technicians, ensuring that all service operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong technical expertise in machining operations and the ability to lead and mentor team members while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of field service technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance of CNC machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate field service operations, ensuring timely and effective service delivery to clients.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on lathe, CNC, and milling machines.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor and report on team performance, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to identify client needs and develop effective service solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within a field service environment, ideally in the machining or manufacturing sector.Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with lathe, CNC, and milling operations.Familiarity with Multi Axis machining and PLC systems is highly desirable.Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and electrical controls engineering is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.Benefits
