Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide services at a correctional facility in Victorville, California. The ideal candidates will provide nursing care to inmates at the facility while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

Requirements:
• Valid and unrestricted California license
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in a clinical or correctional setting).

Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing duties within the scope of current licensure.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical assessments.
• Assist in diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
• Administer emergency care, including CPR and first aid.
• Operate EKG machines and perform venipunctures for laboratory tests.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health care providers to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
