Job Title : Assembler Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembler Technician with at least one year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, well-developed organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform repetitious duties while standing or walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts list to prepare work.
• Assemble component parts to company specifications and customer expectations, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
• Assemble shocks, sub-assemblies, or hose assemblies according to approved drawings or visual aids.
• Operate machines and use hand / power tools such as pneumatic press, torque wrench, and drill.
• Operate a circular saw for cutting hose assemblies according to blueprint specifications.
• Clean and prepare parts and sub-assemblies for assembly.
• Recommend process or quality improvements.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with safety policies and reporting hazards.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for defects.
• Report quality issues to lead or supervisor.
• Ensure all housekeeping activities are completed, maintaining work area in orderly condition.
• Exhibit integrity and accountability in all activities.

Work Environment

The position operates within a mix of manufacturing and R&D environment focused on performance shocks. Employees work a 4-10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, with standard hours from 6am-4 : 30pm. There is potential for overtime on Fridays depending on workload. The job involves standing on feet all day and includes three breaks throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
