Job description

Senior Payroll Analyst

Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our payroll team. This role is responsible for managing complex payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting system improvements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and a strong understanding of payroll operations for large employee groups.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Acting as a liaison between employees and third-party payroll vendors.
  • Auditing employee pay records and reconciling payroll data by department, location, and country.
  • Coordinating implementations and upgrades of third-party payroll systems.
  • Interpreting and applying pay policies (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions).
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Assisting with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, and related documentation.
  • Documenting payroll processes and procedures; may train payroll department staff.
  • Providing backup support for specialized tasks such as stock option exercises, SEC filings, and sales commission reviews.

Required skills and experience include :

  • Minimum 57 years of payroll experience.
  • Recent and advanced experience (3+ years) with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) including :
  • Payroll processing

  • Navigating the system
  • Running and analyzing reports
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve payroll discrepancies and implement system improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and work independently.
  • Interview process will include a one-panel interview via Microsoft Teams.

    Additional notes :

  • Candidates must be proficient in ADP WFN; recent experience is required.
  • Do not submit candidates without ADP WFN experience.
