Job Description Summary / TWC Summary :
The professor reports to the Department Chair and is responsible for supporting and advancing the mission and goals of the university and the college / school in all academic, scholarly and student support activities. The professor typically teaches assigned graduate (master and doctorate) Educational Administration courses, develops curriculum and course content, conducts research and publishes research findings, counsels and advises students on course requirements and participates in college / school activities for the advancement of organizational goals and student success. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses related to school organization and leadership, school law, campus culture and community relations; advising graduate students; assisting with student research and dissertations, and supervising internships. Teaching assignments may include weekend, evening and online courses.

$52,775.00 - $68,607.00
Education :
Applicants must hold a doctorate in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies or an equivalent field. Successful K-12 administrative experience is preferred with a current principal certificate and the ability to teach graduate courses leading to principal and superintendent certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of : Successful candidates will be required to contribute to teaching, research, and service at a level necessary to help the department maintain accreditation. Skill in : Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Must be able to work with a diverse student and faculty population. Must be able to use personal computers, Microsoft Office software and other job-related software. Ability to : Candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to scholarly activities. Successful candidates should demonstrate commitment to mentoring students.
Work Experience :
Successful candidate will provide documented evidence of three to five years educational administration teaching experience, scholarly and research potential.
