As Sr Advisor, Power Market Research, you will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial trading strategy through data-driven insights. What You'll Do
- Lead market research initiatives to deliver actionable insights that support strategic trading decisions.
- Develop and maintain models to analyze market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Partner with trading and commercial teams to synthesize complex data, validate supporting materials, and deliver impactful reports.
- Manage essential data systems, uphold quality standards, and recommend improvements to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Collect and analyze customer and market data to identify opportunities, optimize marketing actions, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate across teams to support strategy development and share best practices.
- Lead ad hoc projects, perform economic and logistical analyses, and engage with external consultants to refine market views.
- Communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences and build consensus within and beyond the commercial organization.
- Foster strong relationships, contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation, and continuously build your expertise.
- Stay current with industry trends and help drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
What You'll Bring Required
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to comply with the following :Travel up to 5%Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.3 or more years of experience in the Energy industry or commodity trading.Proficiency in economic analysis, data management, modeling and / or investment appraisal skills.Proficiency with MS Outlook Suite (Outlook Email, Word, and Excel programs).What Makes You Stand Out Preferred
5 or more years of commercial supply and trading experience.Technical background would be beneficial.Working programming knowledge of Python, SQL, PowerBI.Working knowledge of statistical modeling software, SQL or other database software, and economic model development.Compensation Range : $144,000 - $176,000
