Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential therapy services to a diverse pediatric population, from neonates to adolescents. Your expertise will help children thrive in areas such as independent living, sensory-motor integration, cognitive skills, and psychosocial development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Treat : Work with patients facing a variety of diagnoses, including neurological, sensorimotor, musculoskeletal, and more. You'll use your knowledge of typical development to provide age-appropriate services in self-care and play.
  • Develop Treatment Plans : Create functional and measurable goals in collaboration with families, ensuring mutual agreement on the plan of care.
  • Implement Care : Utilize various treatment modalities such as exercise, splinting, and massage, while also recommending dynamic medical equipment to enhance function.
  • Documentation : Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Joint Commission and other standards.
  • Collaborate : Work alongside other disciplines within the hospital and community to maximize the effectiveness of care plans.
  • Build Relationships : Foster rapport with colleagues, families, and community personnel, and supervise assistive personnel, providing valuable feedback on their performance.
  • Additional Duties : Be ready to take on miscellaneous job-related tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and relevant licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus!
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
