Job description

Locum Tenens Opportunity : Physician - Hospitalist

  • Profession : Physician

Shift Details :

  • Shift Schedule : 7 on / 7 off, 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm and 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am
  • Weekend Requirements : Yes
  • On-Call Requirements : None

    • Requirements :

  • Experience : Must have 2+ years of recent experience
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Daily Census : 20-25 daily per team
  • Nightly Admissions : Low night admissions (5-10 is a lot and its early in the night)
  • Physician Shifts : 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm (2 physicians) and 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am (1 physician)

    • Daily encounters 10-15

  • APP Shifts : 7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm (2 APPs)

    • Daily encounters 7-10

  • Number of ICU Beds : 8 (OPEN ICU)
  • Specialty Coverages : Cardiologist, Neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
  • Procedures Required : Due to open ICU, hospitalists need to be skilled in intubation and preferably central lines. Hospitalists respond to codes.

    • Additional Details :

  • Med Surg Beds : 31 med surg beds / private rooms. Can double up if needed.
  • Certification Requirements : Board Certified
  • State License Requirements : Ohio
  • Additional License Requirements : BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS
  • COVID Vaccination : Required
  • Procedural Logs : Required from every provider within the past 12 months (April 2023 Present) reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents. During credentialing, please notate these are attainable.
