We are looking for a friendly and dependable Deli Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of deli, grocery, or food service experience and a passion for providing excellent customer service. In this role, you’ll prepare and serve deli items, maintain a clean work area, and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Slice, weigh, package, and label deli products accurately.

Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items as needed.

Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.

Stock and rotate deli cases to ensure freshness.

Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, and prep areas.

Handle customer transactions and operate the cash register when required.

Qualifications :

Minimum 6 months of experience in a deli, grocery, or food service role.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Team player with a positive attitude.
