We are seeking an experienced ABA Collector to join our Revenue Cycle team. This role is responsible for managing insurance collections, reducing outstanding accounts receivable, and ensuring maximum reimbursement for ABA therapy services. The ideal candidate knows the ABA / behavioral health landscape, understands payor quirks, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end collections for ABA services, with a focus on aged claims and denials.
• Review, track, and follow up on outstanding balances with insurance payors, Medicaid, and private carriers.
• Correct, resubmit, and appeal denied or underpaid claims.
• Communicate with insurance reps and internal staff (RCM, billing, clinical) to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities in system (CentralReach or equivalent).
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize based on collectability and deadlines.
• Provide weekly reporting on AR status, denial trends, and resolution progress.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and reduce DSO (days sales outstanding).
