About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid compact or state nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Strong experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia management
• Proficient in IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Experience in renal failure management
• Knowledge of cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration
• Competency in blood product administration
• Familiarity with tracheostomy management
• Ability to utilize rapid response teams
• Skilled in wound care and management, including use of wound vacs
• Competent in non-invasive airway management (CPAP / BIPAP, oxygen)
• Proficient in EPIC documentation

Description :

The position involves providing care for patients of varying age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The staffing ratio is 1 : 4, ensuring personalized attention to patient needs.

Experience in charge nursing is preferred but not mandatory.

Familiarity with a charting system is strongly preferred, particularly experience with Epic.

Candidates with experience in LTAC and trauma-level facilities are encouraged to apply.

Flexibility to travel for the position is highly valued.

In this role, the nurse will engage in managing the care of ventilated patients, arterial line management, and peripheral line care.

Candidates should be comfortable interpreting dysrhythmias and assessing vital signs, including arterial blood gases.

The nurse will be expected to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

All candidates must meet standard health and safety requirements for nursing practice.
