Overview

LMI is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support USPS's Artificial Intelligence Virtual Assistant (AIVA) operations. The Business Systems Analyst will be part of a team that is delivering comprehensive software lifecycle support for the AIVA product developed by USPS. All BSA candidates must have strong communication skills, a passion for project management and testing, and a desire to learn new technologies on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
• Gather business-focused requirements to support development teams and product owners, including supporting the backlog and ensuring the user's perspective is considered.
• Identify core business needs, decompose, and document concepts of operation, story maps and user stories, document business rules and construct workflow diagrams, as needed.
• Develop and refine business needs statements and / or change requests containing clear and actionable epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Work with Product Management, Technical Leadership, and mission stakeholders to establish and monitor baseline key performance indicators (KPI) / metrics.
• Provide data analysis expertise to measure and report on progress towards objectives and key results, including both development / delivery metrics and business process outcomes.
• Participate in scrum, sprint planning, story refinement and backlog refinement sessions.
• Develop documents to support program compliance with USPS IT Technology Solutions Life Cycle.
• Identify and communicate risks and issues.

The salary range on this position goes up to $135,000
