Job description

Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where you will work in a warehouse. You will contribute to the efficient processing of shipments in a temperature-regulated environment, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move them to storage locations.
  • Load outbound shipments as listed on shipment orders.
  • Transfer garbage as needed to compost / garbage bins.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work area, free of debris to prevent safety issues.
  • Operate electric sit down and stand up lifts as needed.
  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage before accepting.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Compliance with GMP requirements.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with electric stand up or sit down lifts.
  • Prior experience in a GMP environment.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
