Software Developer II

Position Duties :  Develop software solutions, utilizing integration tools and platforms. Analyze information to determine, recommend, plan and coordinate installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Design, develop and modify software systems while analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design. Collaborate to design systems and to obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces. Work with project managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities for projects. Consult with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues, such as software system design and maintenance. Develop system testing and validation procedures to monitor and assess performance of existing software. Modify software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Determine system performance standards and prepare documents and correspondence concerning project specifications, requirements, activities, and status. Store, retrieve and manipulate data for analysis of software capabilities and requirements. Provide technical support in response to software development questions and needs and train users.

Education required : Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Studies, Computer Science, or a related field. Foreign equivalent degree acceptable.

Experience required :

• Must have two years of professional experience at the enterprise level as a software developer using Mulesoft. The two years of experience must also include the following :  Use and administration of source code management systems; Systems administration experience using Windows server and workstation-based products; Performing software problem identification and resolution and relational database experience using SQL server.
• Must have experience in the following :  All aspects of Information and Network Management, e.g., integration, infrastructure, firewalls, servers, hardware, and software; Experience in technical writing and commenting code; Writing basic batch files, SQL queries and dynamic scripting languages; Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and object-oriented programming languages and concepts.

Required skills or training : Must have high proficiency with Postman, SOAPUI, Apache Maven, Atlassian Confluence, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Extensible markup language (XML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Microsoft Active Directory, ServiceNow, Mulesoft, Microsoft Vsio, NotePad++, Cisco Jabber, Git.

Salary Range :   $78,000.00 - $127,500.00 per year
