Job descriptionEntry-level role characterized as a “Learner.” Performs tasks based on detailed instructions. Daily contact with supervisor or more senior Technicians. High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma. Knowledge of and experience with tools, equipment, and basic techniques. Shop environment with high noise levels. May work with high-pressure equipment and chemicals. May be subject to inclement weather conditions. Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service.
Job Title : Workshop Service Technician
Location : Broussard, LA
Pay Rate : $16
Schedule : Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours
Job Purpose :
Supports the assembly and testing of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies of low complexity while developing foundational technical skills.
Main Accountabilities :
- Apply and develop basic skills in the operation and use of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
- Identify different kinds of product and tooling properties.
- Complete required test documentation, including test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), as requested.
- Clean components according to specifications and verbal / written instructions.
- Assist more experienced Technicians in advanced activities and ensure that all equipment, tooling, and spare parts are ready for assembly and / or testing.
- Learn procedures and follow safety protocols consistently.
