Job description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts on Oct 7, 2025, for a 3-day assignment with day shifts from 9am to 8pm, Tuesday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care for minor injuries and urgent concerns in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide clinical assessment and treatment for patients presenting with minor injuries and urgent medical concerns

Deliver high-quality patient care in an urgent care environment

Perform suturing as needed

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols

Additional Information

California medical license required

Board certification in Urgent Care required

Provider Enrollment and Chain / Ownership System (PECOS) certification required

Prior urgent care experience preferred

Must be able to suture
