Job descriptionSafely operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT and company policies Ensure loads are secure and vehicles are locked before transport Adhere to all PPE and workplace safety protocols Serve as the face of our company to customers-maintain professionalism and reliability at all times Accurately process Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and Universal Waste Labels Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and truck interiors Complete and submit Daily DVIRs, reporting any vehicle or equipment issues promptly Secure truck doors during every stop Efficiently transport materials while remaining vigilant at customer locations Maintain regular contact with Dispatch, Operations, and Warehouse Teams Comply with company policies on appearance and uniform standards Enforce a strict no-smoking policy in company vehicles and on customer premises Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Start Time : Typically 5 : 00 AM, though start times may vary based on customer and business needs Occasional late morning or early afternoon shifts may be required based on operational needs Weekends Off : 99.9% of the time Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off Ongoing training and development opportunities A supportive and inclusive work environment
Job Overview
We are seeking a Class C Bobtail Truck Driver to join our team! We are a rapidly expanding enterprise in the Waste & Recycling industry, committed to excellence and innovation. Join our dynamic team and contribute to sustainable solutions that make a difference.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of Class C Bobtail driving experience, preferably in the Bay Area (South Bay experience is a plus)
- Air brake knowledge is a MUST
- Clean DMV record - No DUIs, reckless driving, or license suspensions - No more than 2 tickets or accidents within an 18-month period
- No felony convictions
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. unassisted
- Proficient with smartphones and GPS navigation tools
- Skilled in operating pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Adaptable to new policies and processes
