Multi-Sourcing Analyst, Strategic Sourcing
The Multi-Sourcing Analyst, Strategic Sourcing will support the operational activities associated with all resourcing initiatives for jewelry. They will communicate and interact effectively with cross-functional counterparts to assist in the facilitation of each development stage, managing product samples, coordinating product systematic setup and signoff as well as supporting approval milestones.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist on managing development of business continuity multi source projects.
- Responsible for sending request for pricings (RFPs) and negotiating all pricing for SKU base.
- Coordinate the sign-off process from initial setup (PAD) to PO creation.
- Maintain project tracking with accurate project / product detail.
- Manage product setup and all internal meetings.
- Establish project milestones and develop project plans to meet objectives.
- Assist the Director and Manager in the coordination of cross-functional resources to facilitate project completion.
Tracking and Reporting
Support the maintenance of accurate project tracking documents and systems.Track and report on all negotiated pricingMaintain current status report on all projects within the department.Maintain security of new samples and borrowed merchandise.Conduct general product / project research and review and maintain artwork files, artwork scanning, and product imaging for internal use.Maintain process and discipline, support divisional standards.Additional duties as deemed necessary by business needs.Communication Management
Assist with updating project detail documents to support development responsibilities.Share pricing on effected SKUs with internal teams.Prepare monthly reports to be shared with Senior Management and cross functional teams.Provide prompt project information in support of strategic initiatives.Coordinate the agendas and recaps for department-led cross functional meetings.Communicate with vendors regarding all aspects of new product development and manage the internal and external vendor communication.Required Qualifications
College GraduateProduct development manufacturing business knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Power Point) with ability to learn new softwareFlexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesOrganized and detail orientedAbility to manage and uphold departmental standardsStrong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and project managementPreferred Qualifications
Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plusOverall industry knowledge of product categoryComplete knowledge of Tiffany & Co. merchandise information systems a plusPrior Merchandising experience preferably in a luxury branded productThe hiring range for this position ranges from $77,010.00 - $90,600.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
