Job Opportunity : Scheduler
As a Scheduler, you will work closely with construction and engineering operations to develop engineering and construction schedules. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules, providing updates to key project team members on the progress of projects.
TIC Power provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. TIC Power builds major EPC power plant and solar projects throughout North America. The home office is in Lenexa, Kansas, but work is led all over North America.
Responsibilities include :
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects.
- Developing resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items, and other critical project deliverables.
- Developing schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations, and available manpower and resources.
- Assessing the impact of design changes and schedule slippages and informing company management and clients of all schedule updates.
- Applying engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critical path logic networks.
- Providing guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
Qualifications include :
Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office products.Degree in Engineering or Construction management, or similar industry.Knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about, various project controls software.Ability to travel and / or relocate as needed.Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments.Highly motivated, with a passion for excellence and taking initiative.Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.Other Requirements include :
