Job Summary
The Equipment¨NBSP;Maintenance Technician will support daily facility and equipment repair and maintenance operations in our precision sheet metal manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring production equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, a proactive attitude, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems (e.g., CNC machines, laser cutters, press brakes, welders, HVAC, air compressors, lighting, plumbing, etc.).
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize production downtime.
Record maintenance activities accurately and consistently in maintenance logs.
Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
Support internal safety initiatives by identifying hazards and reporting unsafe conditions.
Team Support - Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing operations.
Assist in projects such as equipment moves, renovations, or repairs under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
2+ years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational certification preferred.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in a production setting.
Familiarity with precision metal fabrication equipment is a plus. Familiarity with OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and preventive maintenance best practices.
Sills & Competencies - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Must perform physical tasks, including lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
Schedule - Hours : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM, Monday – Friday (Some flexibility may be required based on production needs).
Compensation - Hourly Range : $20- 30per hour
