Fire Training Structure (FTS) is looking for an entry level engineering position at a small business which fabricates firefighter training buildings and associated props using shipping containers. FTS designs and fabricates industrial control panels. Tasks vary quite a bit and span several different disciplines. The ability to learn quickly and the willingness and the ability to complete a wide variety of tasks is the key qualifying attribute. FTS regularly creates and submits structural and electrical drawings to building departments across the USA.

Responsibilities :

• Writing / editing operations and maintenance manuals.
• Creating bills for materials and working with the purchasing department to ensure correct materials are ordered and received.
• Quality control inspections / reports.
• Mechanical and electrical testing and troubleshooting related tasks.
• Industry standards compliance tasks.
• Creating shop drawings.
• Performing technical research.
• Drafting technical reports.

Salary : $70,000-$80,000 DOE
