The Acosta Group Connected Commerce team is seeking a strategist to join our growing, innovative omnichannel practice. In this role, you'll shape creative and content strategy for brands across commerce touchpointstranslating client briefs into strategic frameworks to achieve the brief's objectives and guide creative development. As a consultant and collaborator, you'll work fluidly across external clients and internal teams to establish the strategic vision for big idea and channel plan briefs.

Essential functions of this position include:

• Reviewing research across multiple sources and distilling key learnings and delivering actionable takeaways.
• Developing a broad range of strategic deliverables based on the situation.
• Creating simple go to market strategies out of complex business challenges.
• Keeping pulse on cultural/category/industry/retail trends.
• Developing trend reports and periodic thought leadership pieces for the company.
• Authoring compelling strategic narratives and delivering engaging presentations to small and large groups.
• Being prepared and comfortable defending your position but also collaborative and open to feedback.
• Building solid, trusted relationships with team members and clients.
• Managing time and delivering programs within projected quote and timelines.
• Developing a deep understanding of the client's business.
• Engaging with clients and working collaboratively to exceed expectations.

Experience requirement:

• University degree and/or college diploma in the related area of marketing/communications.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal & presentation).
• 3-5 years agency (or related) experience (commerce/shopper agency preferred).

Knowledge, skill and ability requirements:

• Strong understanding of principles specific to brand/shopper/commerce marketing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in both a team environment and independently.
• Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills.

• Strong organization and time management skills to navigate competing priorities.

• Ability to read, understand and draw conclusions from research reports and data.
• Strong ability to navigate and source secondary research.
• Comfortable challenging briefs and having strategic discussions with clients.
• Can think channel agnostically.
