FTE Status : Casual Part-Time, 0.05 FTE

Work Schedule : 8am-4 : 30pm if working Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm on Saturday / Sunday, with an every third weekend rotation

Job Description :

• Responsible for nursing care under the direct supervision of the Provider / Registered Nurse. Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN / Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.

The Tele neurology Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will collaborate closely with our virtual neurologists to support neurology services and the hospital's stroke program. Key responsibilities include assisting neurologists during daily patient rounds by performing neurological assessments to aid in diagnosis. The role also involves supporting the stroke program through chart reviews and providing patient education. This position serves as a vital link between the neurologist and direct patient care, including patient preparation and coordination
