Roshal Health is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to assist at the Veteran's Clinic in Jacksonville NC every Tuesday. The clinic is open normal business hours.

Required Duties :

Key Responsibilities :

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with various respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, and emphysema. The RT works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate respiratory therapies.

Conduct Pulmonary Function Screenings :   Use spirometry equipment to perform comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs) on patients to assess lung function and diagnose respiratory conditions.

Patient Education :  Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the preparation for and execution of pulmonary function tests. Educate patients on the proper use of respiratory equipment, including inhalers and nebulizers, and the administration of medications such as albuterol.
