Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : Tulsa, OK

Contract Duration :  (13 Weeks)

Shift : Days | Monday–Thursday | 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and efficiently according to physician orders.
  • Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment and related technologies.
  • Administer, document, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per protocol.
  • Maintain records of the receipt, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with NRC and DEQ standards.
  • Conduct quality control testing and ensure equipment calibration and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with room and equipment maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Schedule exams, verify orders, and maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
  • Provide support and education to patients regarding procedures and expectations.
  • Participate in cross-training and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
  • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • PET scan experience required.
  • Proficient in Siemens equipment and Epic EMR system .
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education :

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program .
  • Certifications & Licensure :

  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a Cancer Center or hospital radiology setting .
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
