Job Title : Full-Time Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience

Employer : Vanderbilt University

Responsibilities

  • Teach foundational courses in Vanderbilt's research-based undergraduate BS degree major in Neuroscience.
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching, advising and mentoring within the Neuroscience program.
  • Support the program as it expands its curriculum in Computational Neuroscience and AI, including new courses in Neural Networks, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Analysis and Modeling of Neural Dynamics, and emerging AI topics in Neuroscience.
  • Align teaching and program initiatives with the College of Arts & Science strategic initiatives, including computation across disciplines and linking Neuroscience with the Vanderbilt College of Connected Computing.
  • Leverage quantitative analytical skills and AI-human interface topics as areas of interest in the Arts & Science Core curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related discipline (awarded no later than August 1, 2026).
