    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Virginia medical license required
  • Board : Board Certified (ABIM, ABFM, ABEM, AOBEM); ABPS not accepted
  • DEA : Active DEA (pending acceptable)
  • Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, PALS, Preeclampsia Certificate required
  • Experience : Residency trained, diploma required
  • Other Qualifications : Immunizations including Flu (within 12 months), MMR, TB (within 12 months)

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage from 7a 7p shifts
  • Manage admissions, rounding, and acute inpatient care
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and available backup specialties
  • Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
  • Complete onboarding requirements including orientation and EMR training within timeframe
