Job descriptionCompletion of a formal training program. High school diploma or equivalent – Required . Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required (American Heart Association). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required (American Heart Association). Current registration with the National and Louisiana Registry of EMTs as an EMT / B – Required . Current Class D license by the Louisiana DHH / EMS – Required . Valid license and registration (must remain current at all times). Current Defensive Driving Certification – Required . Fit Test – Required . Flu Vaccine – Required . TB Test – Required . License Verification – Required . National EMT Registration – Required .
Job Title : Paramedic - EMT
Location : Luling, LA 70070
Duration : 2 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift : Night Shift – 12 Hours
Schedule : 36 Hours per Week
Required Skills & Experience :
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- 2 years of current experience as a registered EMT / A or EMT-1.
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and various role-specific software packages.
- Good interpersonal skills.
