Internal Medicine Locum, Arcata CA Clinic Only, 8A-5P February 27th, 2023

A new locum is available in Arcata CA for an Internal Medicine for a 3 day assignment.

Required : BC / BE, Active CA license, BLS, will supervise APPs.

Details : Includes some Chronic Pain Management, Chart closure within 72 hours

Schedule = 18 PPD, minimum see 18 PPD

Monday-Friday 8-5

Mix of peds / adults (Will consider IM only)

A decision is typically made within 7-14 days

We will also accept DO

BE will be considered if truly BE (5 years or less since residency)

Active DEA needed before start

Credentialing takes 30-90 days (six weeks is common if provider submit app. / supporting documents timely)

The following immunizations are required for credentialing (before start date) : Flu Vaccine, TB Status / X-Ray Results (results must be within the 90 days before start date), Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Tdap Immunization (must be within the last 10 years), Covid-19 Vaccine Series and 1 Booster
