Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Home Care & In-School Opportunities in Hudson Valley

Westchester County, NY

$40.00 - $42.00 / hour | Full-Time & Part-Time | Flexible Shifts

Sunshine Homecare Services is seeking caring and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide patient-centered care in both home care and school-based settings . As an LPN, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver safe, effective, and personalized nursing services to pediatric and adult clients.

Hiring Locations

We are actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in :

Westchester County, NY

️‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to pediatric clients at home and during school hours under RN supervision

Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope

When working in a school setting, monitor and document student health status throughout the school day

Assist with devices (feeding tubes, trachs, catheters, oxygen)

Respond to medical emergencies calmly and effectively

When working in a school setting, collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Follow individualized care plans set by RN / physician

Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate updates to supervising RN

Use infection control and safety procedures at all times

Travel to client homes and school sites as assigned

✅ Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited LPN program

Active New York State LPN license (required)

2+ years of home care and / or pediatric experience preferred

Current CPR certification

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to remain calm in emergencies and follow care plans accurately
