Senior Proposal Technical Writer

Brief Overview of Position :

Strategic Operations Solutions, Inc. (STOPSO) is seeking an experienced and versatile professional to take on the role of Senior Proposal Technical Writer . This position is critical in bridging the gap between technical solutions and persuasive communication to develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposals that effectively showcase our technical capabilities and solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal contracting, particularly with the Department of Defense (DoD) and / or Fed / Civ agencies, and will play a key role in both designing technical solutions and articulating them in proposal documents. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to understand technical concepts and with support from technical subject matter experts, ensuring that proposals meet technical requirements. This role reports into the Strategic Capture & Proposal team and offers the opportunity for a remote work environment.

Position Duties and Tasks :

• Proposal Writing & Development :

Write and edit technical sections of proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with RFP requirements.

Support the design and development of technical solutions in response to RFP / RFQ requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities.

Work closely with business development, capture managers, and technical SMEs and proposal team, to gather the necessary information and insights for proposal development.

Ensure that all written content is compliant with RFP / RFQ requirements and follows the company's style guide and branding standards.

Maintain and update a library of proposal content, including technical solutions and boilerplate language.

Stay current with industry best practices in proposal writing and technical communication.
