Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for employees and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting access control and responding to incidents. Day Time Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as needed.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR certification is preferred.Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
