Standards Supervisor
This position is an opportunity to work for an agency that regulates standards, training, and licensing for law enforcement agencies and peace officers throughout the state of Minnesota! The POST Board is looking for a dedicated individual to be its Standards Supervisor. This position will provide supervision and direction to the Standards Unit of the POST Board. The Standards Supervisor plays a key role in achieving the goals of the POST Board by working closely with Standards staff and managing Standards Unit operation. This position primarily oversees agency compliance reviews, investigating standards of conduct complaints, training requirements, and policy reviews. The individual will develop and foster professional working relationships with law enforcement agencies, as well as with the staff of clients seeking guidance and information regarding regulatory issues. This position will identify, and address process and system improvements needed to improve the efficacy of the agency's work. This position will work in meaningful partnership with other divisions in the agency to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, onsite attendance will be required for team members or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. Please review the Telework Policy for details.
